Here are his stats at 9 months...
- Weight: 16 lbs. 8 ozs (2nd percentile)
- Height: 26.7 in. (6th percentile)
- Head circumference: 18.6 in. (93rd percentile)
Here are some things we want to remember about Colin at this age:
- He is officially crawling, but it is more of a scoot on his tummy. It's as if he is swimming or pedaling with his arms and legs. It takes a lot of effort and he doesn't get very far.
- He has 8 teeth (4 on top, 4 on bottom)
- He is still very consistently napping twice a day, for 1.5-2.5 hrs each.
- He does ok with regular baby food, but we discovered that he really prefers the pouch products that have fruit mixed in with veggies.
- The sounds he makes include: "ma-ma" (when he is tired and fussy), "da", "ta" and he loves to blow raspberries.
- When I hold him and ask, "where's Mama?" he will pat on my chest.
- He is still incredibly ticklish all over.
- He is enamored by Julia and gets very enthusiastic when she enters the room and acknowledges him.
- Although he loves Julia, he doesn't care to be messed with, so if she gets close and he senses that she is going to bother him he will begin complaining in anticipation of being aggravated.
- He is very easy going, but if he latches onto something that he really wants, then has it taken from him, he will cry and get very upset. If we try to give him something else to distract him from what we took away, he will throw it to the side and pursue what he wants.
- He already has discovered that whatever Julia is playing with is better than what he has and will try to play with her. She is pretty good about letting him play, but often gets frustrated when he gets in the middle of everything that she is doing.
