Julia had an unfortunate accident involving her step stool and her front tooth, requiring it to be pulled. It happened before bed one evening while Kyle was on a hunting trip. Our good friend and pediatric dentist, Kenny, came over to check it out and confirm that it was a "gonner." He fit us in his clinic first thing the next morning to take care of it.
Julia was an excellent patient. She watched a movie, was given nitrous oxide, and even laughed at Dr. Kenny's jokes when her gums were injected with Novocain. Needless to say, she didn't feel and wasn't aware her tooth was even pulled. When she was all finished and I showed her the tooth in a little box, she asked: "How did it get out of my mouth?"
Ready to go home and take it easy.
Later in the day!
Julia's good friend, Raegan, came over to visit and compare toothless smiles. They brought milkshakes too.
The Tooth Fairy made her first visit to our house much earlier than I would have imagined. She brought Julia a sparkly dollar.
Happy girl!
