Lessons with Glendy

The kids had private water safety instruction everyday this week with Glendy, an instructor from Houston who was in town for the week.  The kids each swam with her for 30 min. and did well.  Colin struggled because it was hard work and the water was cold, but he made great progress.

New Neighbors

We got new neighbors at the beginning of June and finally got a chance to meet them and get to know them a bit.  The husband in a police officer and was nice enough to let Colin explore his patrol car.  Then Colin asked if he could touch the water from their sprinkler and the next thing we know he is drenched, along with Julia and the neighbors' boys.  

Daniel Ranch

Kyle went on an overnight fishing trip, so I took the kids to visit Uncle Dennis and Aunt Celia at their ranch near Giddings.
