Spring Show

Highlights of the show:

Bowling

We recently participated in a charity bowling event. Julia and I were on a team with 2 of our neighbors, Annessa and Yvonne.

This was not her first time to bowl, but her first time to wear rented shoes - how cute!

Julia had fun bowling for about an hour, then she just played with her friend Raegan.

Colin did great, especially considering it caused him to miss his afternoon nap. Once he got sleepy we put him in his car seat, but of course he didn't sleep - just sucked on his fingers.

Day with the Naumanns

We got to spend a day with our friends, the Naumanns, while they were in the area searching for a home since they will be moving from Seattle this summer. We enjoyed the day with them and look forward to having them close!

Julia and Joshua are the same age and played really well together.

Next time there will probably be pictures of Alyssa and Colin together too, since they are also the same age.

Here is Colin, loaded down with toys. Julia thought he needed more than a few.

Then when she realized his picture was being taken, she had to climb up to get in too.

The dogs got new collars, which were sitting on a table within Julia's reach, so she put one on like a necklace and tried the other on Elmo.

Ready to go with Daddy to an Aggie Women's basketball game.

Julia was supposed to be "helping" Daddy work in the front flower beds, but when I went to check on things this is what she was doing - supervising from her rocker.

Julia asked how to spell "pig" then moments later I saw she had done this all by herself!

She helped plant new flowers in the back.

After bowling a few times with the pins in the typical arrangement, Julia decided to set them up in a line (she said she was making a train.) Then she pushed the ball right into the first one and knocked them all down every time.

Her current potty pastime

Ready for "cowboy day" at school.

That afternoon the ice cream truck made his first round through our neighborhood after a long winter break. Julia picked out a rainbow sherbet push-pop.

Miss Micah stopped to say hi when she passed by on her way home from school.

Julia sits up on the counter almost every time I make something - whether it is a snack or a meal.

Julia got her very own "real" putter from the nice man working in the golf shop. It had been in lost and found for years, so he let her have it. She thought that was pretty neat!
