Julia's 4th Birthday Party

Happy 4th Birthday, Julia! We had a great birthday celebration for Julia on her birthday at Kiddie Acres in Austin.  Almost all her friends came, it was nice weather, and everyone enjoyed themselves.

- She has a sweet tooth and will eat anything if she is told there is dessert
- She is neat and doesn't like getting her hands dirty/sticky/wet

Colin can hardly see with his hat on, but he likes it pulled down on his forehead

Hooray!  Colin is eating a peanut butter sandwich!

A picture of Julia eating her sandwich so I'm not always just taking pictures of Colin

I think Julia was playing "hairstylist" with Daddy

Yay!  Using his standing/push toy!

Aunt Celia came over to help make red cupcakes for Julia's birthday party.  Colin enjoyed the batter and getting to add sprinkles to the cupcakes.

Colin: 21 Months

Very talkative, repeats everything we say no matter what.
Loves trains, has a new interest in Thomas the Train.  He says "Thomas" or "Train Movie"
He is beginning to cruise around again, not for very long, but several times throughout the day for a minute or two.
He tries to sing "Happy Birthday" when he hears the word birthday or when he sees anything that looks like a cupcake or candle.  He sings, "Happy To Me.."
He will sometimes sing parts of "Jesus Loves Me" with us before bed, but always prefers "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and usually sings softly with us, but skips some parts.
He is eating better and better.
For breakfast he likes cereal with milk now.  He likes Raisin Nut Bran, Honey Bunches of Oats, and Oatmeal Crisp.  He also likes yogurt, banana (again), and of course Mamaw's zucchini bread.
He likes chocolate pediasure, which he drinks almost every night before bedtime.
He still says, "boom!" when he wants to sit on the couch to watch tv, although he can usually pull himself up on his own.
