Award night at AWANA Cubbies

Colin with his "Go Gators" hat, as he calls it.  Some close friends are from Florida and told him that's what his hat says so now there is no correcting him.  He doesn't believe us when we tell him what it actually says.

The kids love going to Souper Salad so that is often where we go when Kyle is at work.

Colin being a good sport and letting Julia, Chloe, and Amelia make him be the baby.

Fun with friends!  Kyle watched all 4 kids one evening so Angie and I could go for a bike ride along the dam.

This was our view.  It was a beautiful evening.

Enjoying the swing set

Dinner on the back patio

Helping the hostess at Louisiana Longhorn color in the sidewalk sign.

Julia rigged my rain jacket to the back of Colin's dump truck so he could take various toys for a ride.

I took this picture right before Colin demanded that I "go away."

Backyard fun with friends

Playing air hockey at Kidsport while we waited for Julia at gymnastics.

Another treat:  playing on Mommy's iPad while we wait for Julia.

Mother's Day Weekend

After being discharged from the hospital, we headed to Mamaw's house to spend Mother's Day weekend with her.  Papaw was working in Brazil.

The first pictures were taken when we arrived in Houston and were waiting for a phone call from TCH.    The kids enjoyed seeing all of Mamaw's wild flowers.

Treatment #5

Colin had his 5th bisphosphenate treatment at Texas Children's Hospital on May 10-12.  Julia and Mamaw stayed the first night, then Daddy came the second night.  Here are some pictures.

Going for a ride before the breakfast tray arrived.

Colin's Spring Program

Kyle and I were both able to attend Colin's Spring Program.  He froze and didn't participate in the singing or hand motions (like we were told he did in music class), but at least he didn't cry like some children do.

Picnic at the Park

It was a lovely evening, so we picked up Taco Cabana for dinner and took it to a park in Old Town to eat and let the kids play afterward.  Julia can now swing on her own without any help getting started!

There were just a few poppies left.
