A Fresh Look

After having the same blog layout for over two years, I decided it was time for a new look and finally took the steps to give it a much needed makeover.

The photo in the header is one of our favorites of our sweet Julia. Kyle captured the picture of her sleeping peacefully in the "Moses basket" upon arriving home from the hospital.

Bowling Night

We met our friends, Richard and Kassy, last weekend for dinner and bowling. It was fun, especially for Julia. There was so much for her to look at and she was content to be passed around as we all bowled.

Photo Comparison

Who does Julia look like? Seems like the jury is still out, since we hear differing opinions. Here are some of our own baby pictures to compare with hers. See what you think, and if you can tell which is which. (The answers are in the comment section.)

4 Month Check-Up

Yesterday we took Julia to the doctor for her 4-Month visit. She did great and was very sociable...until she got her shots. She is good, though, and calms down very quickly after she gets over the initial shock. Here are her stats:
  • Weight: 13 pounds, 1 ounce (30th percentile)
  • Length: 24-1/2 inches (50th percentile)
  • Head Circumference: 42 cm (75th percentile)
