To celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary, we spent 5 wonderful nights at Dreams Los Cabos, an all-inclusive resort between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. My parents graciously offered to stay with Colin and Julia so we could take the vacation, and we were so grateful for the opportunity! The weather was perfect during our stay and we had a relaxing trip.

I loved the open-air concept for the resort. This photo was taken from the reception area.

We spent part of one day in San Jose del Cabo. It was quite small an there wasn't much to see or do.

Outside a historic mission.

The breakfast buffet was wonderful, and we loved sitting outside every morning.

We spent a day in Cabo San Lucas, where we took a boat to see the famous arch. In the photo above, a gap in the rock formations on the peninsula connects two beaches.

The famous arch. We were told that only once every 4 years is sand visible under the arch. Sometimes it is safe enough to walk there, but not when we went.

The boat dropped everyone off so we could explore.

Huge waves crashing behind Kyle. Obviously it wasn't safe to swim.

Here I am facing one body of water with the other beach behind me.

We had heard of Cabo Wabo, so we made sure to find it. We had a late lunch there, so it was pretty quiet. We could tell, though, that it must really come to life at night.

Dinner at the seafood restaurant.

We enjoyed strolling along the shore. The strong undertow and force of the giant waves on most of the shoreline around the resort made it too dangerous to swim. We knew that ahead of time, so we weren't disappointed. It was beautiful to look at, though.

Relaxing in the beach cabana on our last afternoon at the beach.
One last picture on the balcony before we check out.

What a wonderful week!
And not only did everyone survive back home, they had a good week too!
